I am an audio enthusiast currently enrolled at Utah Valley University. I've gained experience and a passion for audio from live sound experience that preceded my formal education. I began my work in live sound at the Soundwell, located downtown Salt Lake City. Through them I diversified my experience with live production including expert lighting design as part of my abilities. My goal is to become an acoustic engineer as I further my desire to help others reach their goals with music from the studio to the live stage, to film sound design and beyond.
I am a live production person at heart, through and through. While living in Utah these past 6 years, I've been to more concerts than the average American attends in a lifetime.
I grew up playing classical and jazz trumpet all throughout school having participated in the Youth Symphony of Southern Oregon for 8 years and an award winning jazz flugelhorn player. I have been part of my high school's choir program, and am a current member of the Wasatch Corale.
I also enjoy live theatre. I began my roots there as a member of the pit orchestra, eventually migrating to the spotlight in both musicals and Shakespeare. productions.
My time is dedicated to helping you craft your projects beyond your expectations. With a history of performing in multiple musical ensembles, understanding the perfect blend is part of my process.
I've garnered live experience work combining an immersive audio and lighting experience to elevate your event experiences.
Currently I work as a freelance audio engineer, and currently am a student mixer for UVU's Soulscape music group going on my third semester.
You can occasionally find me on the set of a film or short film, leading or part of a crew capturing clear audio for motion pictures of all styles. I can work as a Sound Supervisor, Mixer, or a Boom Op.
